National Farmers Union

In July 2020 we successfully secured a 3yr contract with the National Farmer Union to provide grounds maintenance services and horticultural works for their site at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.

NFU sought a reliable, trusted partner who had the experience and knowledge to bring the Park’s hedging, gardens and green spaces under control and back to life, to attract wildlife and nature, and continually surprise and delight new and returning visitors with new planting and colours. At Newman we were able to provide them with what they needed and have continued to work closely with them to ensure every aspect of the service agreement is being met.

The services we provide include everything from grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, flower bed maintenance, moss/weeds treatment and environmentally safe lawn feed, tree shaping and leaf removal. The site is the NFU demise of the Park and requires attention on a weekly basis. We have a regular team who attend and who are onsite at least four days per month.

From the start we had a clear schedule of work and have continued to maintain regular contact through onsite check-in and our real-time reporting app that shows all work carried out and ready for inspection if needed.
With our dedicated work, knowledge and experience, the site has altered dramatically over the last few years.

In our regular surveys with the client, we have received very positive remarks and will always act on the key areas of improvement. We have worked closely with NFU to create a streamlined system that meets their needs for reporting, invoicing and communication. This has reduced time and errors and established a much more efficient service overall.
